Spiritual Tool Kit For Health and Well-Being

This is the online edition of the Spiritual Tool Kit (STK). It is a gift to you from Healing Partners, an interfaith program of Jewish Family Service of Metrowest. It is exciting that all of the following listings are happening in our community. There is a direct connection between our spirituality, health and wellness and our capacity to cope with the inevitable transitions of life as we age, whether these transitions are related to caring for our aging parents, coping with our own illness, or death and dying. Our community is rich and diverse in its capacity to help individuals and families manage life’s challenges. This Spiritual Tool Kit is an inventory of the many resources available through communities of faith, health care providers and social service agencies in MetroWest.

The Spiritual Tool Kit facilitates an ongoing community wide conversation about how we support our elderly, those who care for them, and ourselves as we anticipate our own aging and other life changing events. The contents of this Tool Kit are by no means complete or exhaustive.

We will share new offerings with you and update current listings. We encourage you to tell us about your healing programs and how you support the members of your community who face illness and their caregivers. We also look forward to providing opportunities that will fortify our spiritual selves while we are well. We may then be better equipped to handle whatever life has in store for us. Our dream is that one day, with all of us working together, no one in our community will be isolated and without resources as they face these life transitions.
