If Only…

If only one could choose one’s own destiny then life would be lived to the fullest.
If only he had not had so much discomfort for so long…
If only there had been a treatment for the form of cancer my wife had…
If only he did not have surgery…
If only we had been able to have more time...
If only I had told her more often that I loved her and that ours was a perfect marriage…
If only my children could have known my mother longer…
If only my father could hear the wonderful things people are saying about him…
If only you were still here with me, we would have so much to share,
If only we could do it all again!
