JFS is partnering with the Learning Express store of Needham to provide learning toys and materials for the community!  Items will be purchased using the Wilson Learning Materials Fund and will be distributed as a part of the food and basic needs supply distributions to the families at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School.

JFS Board member Jodi Bring volunteering at Children’s Clothing Closet pop-up event.

This project was spearheaded by long time supporter, volunteer and board member Jodi Bring and her husband Ken.

“These are stressful times where socialization is limited, learning is virtual, and small businesses are struggling.  Finding ways to entertain the kids and providing home-schooling weighs heavily on families.  The Wilson Learning Materials Fund is the perfect conduit to match our desire to assist small community businesses while providing an infusion of fun and educational support to our JFS families.  Through toys and learning materials from the Needham Learning Express, kids of all ages can have the opportunity to play with and learn something new during this time of uncertainty,” said Jodi and Ken Bring.  “It means so much to us that we can help bring smiles to the faces of the Wilson community while supporting their education, creativity and imagination!”

Thanks to Jodi and Ken’s generosity and that of other donors, new donations will be matched up to $3,000!  Interested in making a donation to the Wilson Learning Materials Fund?  Click below to learn how you can support the education and wellbeing of our community.
