One of our main tenets at JFS is Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World). Never has our Earth been in more need of physical repair than with the current major global warming and climate change we are experiencing. We must act now. The purpose of this policy is to address climate change, environment and sustainability and to integrate planning and action on those issues into the mission of JFS.

Working with our community partners, JFS seeks to create opportunities to highlight and be involved with environmental efforts that are conducive to enhancing client service delivery, reduce operating costs, and demonstrate leadership on climate and sustainability causes in the community.

Given the dynamic situation with regards to climate change and action needed, this policy will be reviewed on a yearly basis and updates on JFS’ progress in this area will be briefed to the JFS Board of Directors.
