JFS and the Volman Family are proud to announce the establishment of the Carole Edith Volman Memorial Fund to honor Carole’s life and devotion to humanity and supporting others.

Carole lived a life of giving and helping. In keeping with her love of Judaism, she was very involved with the resettlement of Russian Jewry  and also was very caring for the most vulnerable by volunteering at the children’s cancer ward at Yale hospital and working with Seniors. As a social worker it was in her DNA to always think of ways to help those and need and always approach life with gusto and determination.

To honor Carole’s deep devotion to humanity, this fund will enhance JFS ability to resettle refugees and asylees from around the world, help isolated older adults thrive and live in dignity, and accelerate equity for the most vulnerable families with young child. Carole believed her glass was always half full.

The Volman family is so proud to honor the amazing life of Carole by establishing this fund.
