In honor of his Bar Mitzvah, Sammy Chasen collected monetary donations as well as several boxes and bags of brand new and gently used items for the JFS Children’s Clothing Closet located in the Framingham Public School’s Resource Room. He and his father, former JFS Board Member Allan Chasen (pictured with Sammy above) delivered everything to the Children’s Clothing Closet in November. Sammy is a third-generation philanthropist and is following in the footsteps of his parents and grandparents who are longtime JFS supporters. His father Allan also played an integral role in the planning and execution of the expansion to the Resource Room, which has greatly enhanced JFS’ ability to help families with meaningful and immediate assistance.
