Since its inception, JFS of Metrowest in Framingham has been working with refugees, asylees and others fleeing violence in their home countries to help them build a new life in the Metrowest Greater Boston region of Massachusetts. Over the last year, with the skyrocketing cost of housing and limited available options, the biggest barrier to assisting these newcomers has been helping them find a place to live they can afford. Watch this video to learn how JFS is working with The Shapiro Foundation, Ed E. Zuker and Chestnut Hill Realty, faith organizations and other community partners to find creative, collaborative housing solutions that build thriving communities.
