Congratulations to all of the 2024 Boston Marathon Runners! Cynthia Fraine, John Schultz, and Jerome Rubin ran the 2024 Boston Marathon to support JFS of MetroWest! JFS had the pleasure of having water stops in Framingham at Mile 6 and at Debbie Gottbetter’s Parents house in Newton at Mile 21! All runners finished and had great times. We had Staff, Board Members, and many community members in attendance to cheer on the runners through this difficult marathon! All of our runners had positive attitudes and smiles throughout the marathon (even during heartbreak hill)! At our Framingham water stop, we had the pleasure to see Board Member Chase Carpenter and send him off with encouragement to finish strong!
Our Incredible runners raised $12,000 for JFS of Metrowest, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the impact this money will be to community members in need! The 2024 Boston Marathon was an inspiring day for all who attended, watched, and participated!
