Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Metrowest was honored to take part in the “What We Can Do Fair,” hosted by Congregation Beth Elohim’s social action group, Na’aseh. Representing JFS, Board member Ann Budner connected with attendees, sharing the organization’s vital work in the community.
Ann informed attendees about the challenges JFS has faced related to the changes in the Federal resettlement program and highlighted JFS’ innovative Home-Share program, which offers a creative, affordable housing solution for older adults looking to age in place with dignity. She also spoke about the many ways community members can get involved — whether by volunteering their time, sharing their talents, or simply offering a helping hand — to create meaningful change in the lives of those who need it most.
Events like this remind us that when we come together with purpose and compassion, we can build stronger, more supportive communities for everyone.
Many thanks to Ann and Congregation Beth Elohim’s social action group, Na’aseh for this meaningful opportunity!
