JFS of Metrowest is proud to be highlighted in the November edition of the Framingham Public Schools (FPS) Family Support Coordinator Updates newsletter. For more than twenty years, JFS has partnered with FPS to provide supplemental support to families with young students—ensuring every child has the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
This month’s newsletter features the Winter Boot Distribution Drive, an annual collaboration launched in 2021. Each year, JFS joins with FPS, Yale Appliance, and the Yale Appliance Foundation to ensure that Framingham students have the warm, durable footwear they need for the winter season. Since the drive began, more than 1,800 pairs of shoes and boots have been distributed through both large-scale events and the ongoing inventory available in the JFS/FPS Resource Room.
Access to proper winter gear does more than keep kids warm—it allows them to fully participate in outdoor recess, release energy, and return to the classroom ready to learn. JFS is honored to partner with the FPS Family Support Coordinators to help ensure that every young student can experience winter safely and comfortably.
