JFS of Metrowest is proud to sponsor the Boston Jewish Arts Festival, an inspiring afternoon celebrating music, creativity, and community, taking place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Temple Israel of Boston.
This vibrant annual event brings people of all ages together to experience the richness and diversity of Jewish arts and culture. As a community-based organization dedicated to connection, creativity, and belonging, JFS is honored to support a festival that reflects these shared values.
The afternoon begins at 3:00 p.m. with Cantor Alicia Stillman’s Annual Winter Concert, Run Walk Fly: Every Journey Begins with a Single Step. Serving as the festival’s opening concert, this moving musical experience invites audiences to reflect on the journeys we take—both planned and unexpected—and how even the most ambitious dreams begin with a single step.
At 4:00 p.m., the Boston Jewish Arts Festival comes alive throughout the entire building, offering a dynamic mix of local artists and vendors, live performances, food, folk dancing, and hands-on creative experiences for all ages. The festivities will be guided by MC Hal Slifer, host of Chagigah on 88.9 WERS, adding energy and warmth to an already joyful afternoon.
Last year’s festival welcomed hundreds of attendees and featured more than 30 vendors, 11 performances and presentations, and lively folk dance classes. This year’s celebration promises even more opportunities to explore, connect, and celebrate Jewish culture in its many forms.
As a sponsor, JFS of Metrowest is proud to help make this inclusive and enriching community experience possible. Events like the Boston Jewish Arts Festival reflect JFS’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community, supporting creative expression, and ensuring spaces where everyone feels welcome.
All are invited to attend and share the experience with friends and family.
