This winter, warmth came to hundreds of families in our community thanks to the incredible generosity and partnership of Global Partners (globalp.com). We are thrilled to share that through their recent coat drive, Global Partners collected a remarkable 540 new and gently used coats—including 380 children’s sizes and 160 adult sizes—for the benefit of the JFS/FPS Resource Room.
The JFS/FPS Resource Room is a vital community resource operated by JFS of Metrowest and the Framingham Public Schools that provides essential assistance to families and individuals striving to make ends meet. The JFS/FPS Resource Room offers items such as seasonally appropriate clothing and winter gear because every child deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
Global Partners is a community-minded organization dedicated to making a positive impact both locally and beyond. With a strong focus on service and giving, Global Partners mobilizes its team and network to support initiatives that uplift people’s lives — especially during times of need. Their recent coat drive is a powerful example of how collective effort and compassion can translate into real, tangible support for families facing challenging circumstances.
Through this effort, Global Partners’ coat drive has made a meaningful difference for many families this winter. With 540 coats now available through the JFS/FPS Resource Room, children and adults alike will be warmer, healthier, and more comfortable — even on the coldest days.
We are also excited to welcome Global Partners’ growing retail presence in the community. Their Alltown / Alltown Fresh brand operates locations across the Northeast, and a new Alltown site is being established in Framingham as part of Global Partners’ retail network.
The new Alltown fuel and convenience store at 696 Cochituate Road will offer gasoline, diesel, and a wide range of convenience items and snacks — expanding access and services for local residents while deepening Global Partners’ connection to the Framingham community.
