JFS is proud to celebrate our CEO, Lino Covarrubias, who has been selected as one of the City of Framingham’s inaugural 2026 Hispanic & Latino Heritage Month honorees.

The City’s first-ever Hispanic & Latino Heritage Month Honors ceremony will recognize 12 individuals whose leadership, service, accomplishments, and contributions have helped strengthen the Framingham community. Honorees were selected through a community nomination process recognizing contributions in areas including community service, education, business, public service, advocacy, arts and culture, and more.

Lino joins an inspiring group of local leaders being recognized as part of this historic inaugural class. The City’s invitation describes the celebration as the beginning of what it hopes will become a lasting tradition honoring the leadership, service, culture, and achievements of Framingham’s Hispanic and Latino community.

As CEO of JFS, Lino’s leadership reflects a deep commitment to strengthening our community and ensuring that individuals and families have opportunities to thrive. We are delighted to see his contributions recognized alongside those of so many dedicated leaders who make Framingham a stronger, more welcoming community.

The Hispanic & Latino Heritage Month Honors ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Historic Nevins Hall, 150 Concord Street in Framingham. Community members are invited to attend and celebrate this year’s honorees.

Please join all of us at JFS in congratulating Lino on this wonderful and well-deserved recognition!
