It’s the season of giving, and JFS is grateful to have received several generous donations for its Children’s Clothing Closet this past week!
On Sunday, November 28th, Camp Young Judaea (CYJ) held a reunion at Congregation B’nai Shalom in Westborough, MA, where they collected and donated over 30 pairs of winter boots to the JFS Children’s Clothing Closet. Special thanks to CYJ Director of Community Relations Marni Israel for coordinating the drive.
We’d also like to express our gratitude to Temple Beth Torah, who through the leadership and community organizing of their Tikkun Olam Group, collected over 20 pairs of boots for the JFS Children’s Clothing Closet!
Further, we want to thank Jacki Hart and Remi Trestan for their substantial donation. The mother-daughter duo collected nearly 300 items of gently used clothing for teens in economically challenged schools in Framingham.
Lastly, thank you to the Men’s Club at Temple Israel of Natick for collecting over 50 pairs of new socks and underwear — items crucial to providing a seasonal response to the clothing needs of the elementary school-age children in the Metrowest community.
JFS is grateful for the incredible generosity of Camp Young Judaea, Temple Beth Torah, Temple Israel, Jacki Hart, and Remi Trestan!
