Over 67 friends of JFS came together at five different events throughout the month of November to assemble 100 Hanukkah gifts to be distributed to JFS Older Adult clients. Senior Director of Philanthropy, Jayne Lampert spoke about the work JFS does in the Metrowest community and beyond.
The Hanukkah gifts were created to bring light to older adults during the Holiday season since often times older adults are forgotten. Each Hanukkah bag contained a coffee mug, hot chocolate, a supermarket gift-card, and a handwritten note.
Thank you to Allison Kates, Michelle Bearak, Barbara Schultz, Elana Margolis, Robin Kotzin and Dana Volman who graciously hosted their friends and family. JFS volunteers will pick up the Hanukkah bags at JFS and distribute the gifts during the week of Hanukkah.
