Did you know that JFS of Metrowest (Framingham, MA) has been providing resettlement services to victims fleeing violence and oppression since 1979?
When these newcomers arrive in the U.S., a wide range of services are needed and JFS harnesses the power of volunteerism and collaborative partnerships to ensure these individuals and families have the supports they need. In this video you will hear the story of how JFS partnered with Temple Beth David to welcome a family of war evacuees from Afghanistan into the Metrowest area.
In “welcoming the stranger” into their caring community, these volunteers have stepped up and embraced this family with vital, life-saving support enabling them to build a new life of hope and safety for their children. Watch this video and discover a rewarding opportunity that transforms lives.
