Recently, JFS CEO Lino Covarrubias attended ADL New England’s Young Leadership Celebration. There were over 130 attendees including current and next generation leaders who came together at Artists for Humanity in Boston to celebrate and pay tribute to the honorees. Avana Epperson-Temple, Rebecca Miller, and Hannah Underwood were the recipients of the Krupp Leadership Award.
The Krupp Leadership Award is given to community members who demonstrate outstanding dedication and leadership on behalf of ADL. Award recipients display their commitment to ADL by undertaking positions of leadership and helping to spread ADL’s mission “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
These young adults were honored for their service project building winter kits for the Haitian Asylum Seekers JFS of Metrowest are resettling. Each winter kit contained winter hats, socks and gloves for each family member, ChapStick, VapoRub, coloring books, crayons and an Uber gift card!
