Thanks to a generous basic needs grant from the City of Framingham, JFS was able to distribute hundreds of warm, essential seasonal clothing items. Team members Justo Rosario-Lebrón and Operations Manager Sobely Katzman assisted participants in finding items that meet their needs and the JFS refrigerated truck transported hundreds of boxed meals that were distributed to fair participants.

JFS of Metrowest proudly participated in the vibrant Adult Resource Fair, held in the heart of Downtown Framingham Common. This remarkable event, the fourth of its kind hosted by The MetroWest Care Connection, brought together 35 dedicated community partners, each eager to make a positive impact.

The fair was a bustling hub of activity, where attendees had the opportunity to access a wealth of valuable resources. Participating agencies provided essential education and health services, alongside complimentary haircuts and nail treatments that added a touch of self-care to the day. Visitors were also able to gather hygiene products and receive free COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, all without cost or the need for insurance, ensuring that everyone could benefit.

Thanks to a generous basic needs grant from the City of Framingham, JFS was able to distribute hundreds of warm, essential seasonal clothing items, helping to keep our community members cozy as the colder months approach. This day was not just about services; it was a celebration of community spirit, collaboration, and the shared commitment to uplifting those in need.

Thank you to the City of Framingham for their generous support and to our partners for working with JFS to accelerate social equity in our community!
