Before working at JFS, I worked at Bethany Health Care Center for 2 years, and in my free time, I enjoy reading about biology. My main interest is to become a professional nurse.

My current role is Homecare and Personal Care at JFS. I am the kind of person who likes to achieve everything I set my mind to and see it through to completion. I believe that the work I do with JFS is essential because it provides crucial care and support to those who need it most, improving their quality of life.

Position: Registered Nurse

I’m a registered nurse with over a decade of experience caring for patients in the USA. Since 2012, I’ve worked in home care settings, assisting elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and those with mental health conditions. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family. I’m also passionate about animals, enjoy baking up treats in the kitchen, and express my creativity through art.

I believe that my work at JFS is important because it directly supports the organization’s mission of accelerating social, academic, and health equity. I contribute to programs that provide vital services to vulnerable population, helping people achieve healthy lives and independence. By working at JFS, I am part of a compassionate team dedicated to treating individuals with dignity and making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

 

Name: Yaneth Rivero

Position: Homemaker

I studied Social Work and Human Resources, in Venezuela, where I practiced both professions. In Costa Rica, I was also able to practice as a Human Resources professional.

I have 2 children, Andrea and Carlos, I love dogs, Music, sports, especially baseball and football, I believe in God as a guide for my life. I value family, they are my engine every day, I believe in friendship. I value diversity and I defend equality. I like to get to know new places and new cultures. I work at Framingham Public Schools in the area of school nutrition, in the Walsh Middle Schools Cafeteria.

Serving others is part of life’s best rewards, and at JFS, service to individuals and families is the guiding principle of all organizational actions and objectives.
