Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Metrowest is proud to congratulate Daniel Kaploun as the recipient of the Paul Rosenberg Memorial Scholarship for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Established in honor of Paul Rosenberg’s more than four decades of dedicated service to the community, the scholarship supports students pursuing degrees in accounting or finance who demonstrate academic achievement, perseverance, and a commitment to making a positive impact. The award reflects Paul Rosenberg’s belief in expanding educational opportunities and investing in the next generation of financial professionals.
A graduate of Catholic Memorial School, Daniel is enrolled at Bryant University where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He aspires to build a career helping businesses and families make informed financial decisions through sound financial planning and management.
Throughout high school, Daniel demonstrated a strong commitment to academics, leadership, and service. He balanced part-time employment at Olive Garden and Pet Supplies Plus while serving as a hockey coach and remaining actively involved in extracurricular activities, including Catholic Memorial Choir, Peer Ministry, Speech and Debate, and volleyball. A lifelong hockey player, he has also dedicated his time to mentoring younger athletes.
Daniel’s commitment to giving back extends beyond the classroom. He has volunteered with Best Home Health Care, assisting individuals in need, and with the Natick Food Pantry, helping support local families in the community.
With family roots in Russia and Ukraine, Daniel is bilingual in English and Russian, and before graduating high school, he built Spanish-language skills from 6th-11th grade.
The Paul Rosenberg Memorial Scholarship recognizes students whose dedication and perseverance reflect the values of the award. JFS is honored to support Daniel as he begins this exciting next chapter and congratulates him on this well-deserved achievement.
Congratulations, Daniel! We wish you continued success at Bryant University and in your future career.
