Earlier this month, Mitzvah Metrowest held a fundraiser at Spiga in Needham to help Israeli Evacuees resettle in the Metrowest area and beyond. Elyse, Amanda, and Melissa founded Mitzvah Metrowest after seeing the attack on the Israelis on October 7th; they wanted to do something to give back to their community.

Mitzvah Metrowest partnered with JFS for this incredible event to bring awareness and support to the war in Israel. Their goal was to raise $18,000 to then donate to JFS to help resettle Israeli Evacuees. There was an incredible silent auction that took place during the fundraiser as well.

Jayne Lampert Senior Director of Philanthropy, spoke broadly about all the programs JFS has and the communities JFS supports. Lucia Panichella Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships, spoke about 3 specific Israeli families that JFS has supported in the last few months, and the impact donating can have on even more families.

Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
