JFS hosted an Ice Cream Social as a thank you for all of the hard work and dedication our volunteers have put in this year! JFS engages over 300 active volunteers to implant our lifesaving programs that support the most vulnerable in the community. The event was hosted at Temple Beth AM in Framingham and Trombetta’s Ice Cream truck came with many delicious flavors for all to enjoy. Senior Director of Philanthropy Jayne Lampert, Director of Volunteer Services IJ and CEO Lino Covarrubias gave inspiring speeches about the level of impact volunteering has on our community and how essential it is. Without the help of our wonderful volunteers, JFS would not be able to have a positive impact in the lives of over 7,800 community members each year. Great conversations, smiles, and laughs were had all around.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers for the incredible work you do for JFS!

JFS is always looking for volunteers. If you wish to volunteer or know anyone who might want to volunteer, please reach out to ianyanwu@jfsmw.org
