Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Metrowest is pleased to share a new children’s resource, I Love You Everywhere, created to support young children experiencing separation from a parent or caregiver — a circumstance that can be deeply unsettling and emotionally traumatic.

Separation, whether due to immigration enforcement or detention, divorce, chronic illness, incarceration, or the death of a loved one, can profoundly affect a child’s sense of safety and attachment. I Love You Everywhere was designed to offer emotional grounding during these moments, reassuring children that love remains constant and present, even when families are apart.

The booklet was developed in collaboration with child development expert and author Deborah Farmer Kris, in consultation with the JFS of Metrowest Mental Health Task Force, and beautifully illustrated by Boston University graduate students Julia Diaz and Emma Varteresian. Through gentle language and affirming imagery, the book helps young children hold onto a sense of connection, reassurance, and continuity.

To ensure broad accessibility, I Love You Everywhere has been translated under the supervision of Professor Tal Goldfajn of UMass Amherst. Beyond times of crisis or separation, I Love You Everywhere also serves as a meaningful resource for anyone who wants to share reassurance, comfort, and enduring love with a child when they cannot be together — whether due to travel, distance, or life transitions. Families, caregivers, and educators can use the booklet as a gentle way to reinforce connection and emotional security. English version paper copies are available for purchase through Lulu, making it easy to share and enjoy with loved ones near and far.

We extend our deepest thanks to every partner, contributor, and creative voice who helped bring I Love You Everywhere to life — your care and collaboration have created a lasting source of comfort and connection for children and families navigating separation.
