Senate President Karen Spilka and Area Leaders Attend Mezuzah Installation Ceremony at JFS
With the support of Senate President Karen Spilka, JFS received a grant to improve the security of the agency with a ballistic proof door. Senate President Spilka and Jeremy Burton, CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston (JCRC) were present during the ceremony when Rabbi Sam Blumberg from Temple Beth Am in Framingham installed a Mezuzah at the new entrance. Many thanks to Senate President Spilka for her support and for helping to ensure that faith-based organizations such as JFS are protected against hate in our community!
