What: Please join us for a 60 minute lunch and discussion to learn and talk about people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. We invite anyone who is interested in this subject and we welcome all views.

We also encourage people who have friends or family members who are LGBT and would like more information about this topic. This is a safe place to bring any and all questions.

TOPICS DISCUSSED MAY INCLUDE:

  • Where did our beliefs and attitudes about LGBT people come from? And are those beliefs true today?
  • Why are some LGBT older adults reluctant to participate in senior programs?
  • Why do we feel hesitant to talk about family members or friends who are LGBT?
