Lucia Panichella, JFS Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships receives boxes of fleece blankets from Jacki Hart, Co-Chair of the Mitzvah Monday Project, and her son Levi

As part of the CJP Women’s Philanthropy’s Mitzvah Monday Project, JFS recently received 50 warm fleece blankets, many donated by families from The Rashi School, to be distributed to isolated older adults so they can visit with family and friends in outdoor spaces during this isolating period of social distancing.

JFS is grateful to be a benefactor of this ongoing project and in addition to the blankets, has received over 150 hats, gloves and other winter gear items for both kids and older adults to keep them warm during these cold winter months.

Many thanks to Jacki Hart and her son Levi for delivering the blankets to JFS, and to the CJP Women’s Philanthropy Group for their generous and ongoing support!
