JFS of Metrowest has partnered with the Explorers program through Framingham Public Schools to have Pop-Up events. The pop-up events occur during the Explorers registration nights at Harmony Grove Elementary School. JFS brought clothes from the Framingham Public Schools’ Resource Room. The items ranged from clothing of all sizes, styles, and ages, to shoes, and personal care items. People left with bags full and smiles on their faces.

Team members on site that day included Homecare Training Manager Dámaris Medina-Hernández and many volunteers from the wrap around program pictured above.

The Explorers is a program apart of the Framingham Public School System, is an effort to help kids of all ages before, and after school along with summer vacation, community engagement, and fundraising. The Explorer’s mission is to be a facilitator for the Framingham Public Schools in providing multifaceted, comprehensive, and holistic learning opportunities to all students through programming that addresses social and emotional development and provides academic supports that complement the school day.

Thank you to all who helped make the pop-up events a success!
