For the second year in a row Yale Appliance Company and The Yale Foundation in collaboration with JFS hosted a winter boot event at Harmony Grove Elementary School in Framingham. This event supports students of all ages attending Framingham Public Schools. Due to the generosity of Yale Appliance Company and The Yale Foundation, JFS was able to supply boots to over 350 families and took orders for 50 more families. By the end of the event, 436 pairs of boots were distributed to Framingham students.

The Yale Foundation was established to help veterans, the elderly, students, and individuals experiencing homelessness in Boston, South Shore, and Metrowest communities. The foundation considers proposals that focus on capital projects and purchases for programs that directly impact the clients in need.

“I so value the relationship that FPS has with the entire JFS Team and our growing community of partners! Thank you all for your amazing work in the name of helping others and the wonderful partnership!” -Robert Tremblay Superintendent, Framingham Public Schools

JFS is grateful for the continued generosity of Yale Appliance Company! Our ongoing partnership with them and Framingham Public Schools continues to serve and strengthen the community.
