Juneteenth is a day of celebration, recognition, continuous self-development, and respect for all cultures.

JFS supports and stands with our Black community members and is committed to promoting racial justice now and always.

On June 17, 2021, President Biden signed a bill officially recognizing Juneteenth as a federal holiday.

In observance of Juneteenth, JFS will be closed on June 19, 2024.

To honor the holiday, the City of Framingham invites all to attend Juneteenthfest on Saturday June 22nd hosted by Community Vibes at Farm Pond Park.
