Laila Vehvilanen, Geriatric Care Manager with Abrielle Salloway, Manager of Jewish Family Assistance and Healthy Aging

JFS was once again proud to participate in Senate President Karen Spilka’s annual 55+ fall health and wellness fair at Keefe Regional Technical School in Framingham. This fair has taken place each year for over a decade and offers resources, workshops, and activities that promote all aspects of wellness specific to the needs of older adults.

Abrielle Salloway, Manager of Jewish Family Assistance and Healthy Aging, greeted passersby and shared information about JFS programs, including Volunteering, Allies in Aging Geriatric Care Management, and Patient Navigator. Laila Vehvilainen, Geriatric Care Manager, presented a workshop for attendees titled Tips and Strategies for Better Brain Health & Memory.

Thank you to Senate President Spilka for her support of programs and organizations that attend to the needs of older adults and
for being a fierce advocate for “Active Agers” in our community!
